People will steal anything nowadays. When I was growing up you could leave your house and car unlocked. We didn't even have to chain our bikes to a rack.

MAYBE IT'S A TUMOR?
Three years ago I was diagnosed with an acoustic neuroma, a benign brain tumor. That condition, coupled with the eleven herniated disks in my neck and back, has greatly impacted my ability to work. I sell used books on Amazon. I offer books and vintage items on Ebay. My user name is Weetock. I do what I can while I wait on a final hearing with disability and Medicaid.
And while I wait, I thought I'd post some random musings, an occasional rant.

What lake was stolen?
It's in Chile. Has no name. Lake Wobegon was already taken.
Yep, we got one of them disappearin' lakes around these here parts: Lake Jackson in Tallahassee, Fla. She ain't showed back up since the last time she disappeared, and the local politicians are tryin' to do a number on her, but there's still hope. Stay tuned!
