50

Last Wednesday I turned fifty. I woke up, stood in front of the toilet, peed on my feet, and then spent twenty minutes looking for my car keys.

I generally do not celebrate my birthday. I mean, I didn't do anything. I'm here today because my folks didn't watch Johnny Carson 50 years and 9 months ago. Had Don Rickles been a guest that night I would not be typing this.

MAYBE IT'S A TUMOR?

Three years ago I was diagnosed with an acoustic neuroma, a benign brain tumor. That condition, coupled with the eleven herniated disks in my neck and back, has greatly impacted my ability to work. I sell used books on Amazon. I offer books and vintage items on Ebay. My user name is Weetock. I do what I can while I wait on a final hearing with disability and Medicaid.

And while I wait, I thought I'd post some random musings, an occasional rant.
